Capitol Square is conveniently located in downtown Pittsfield where shopping, churches, Post Office, doctors and hospital are within walking distance. There is also bus service to all areas of the city and county. The Senior Center is located across the street and offers such activities as lunches, health clinics, traveling groups, bingo, swimming at the YMCA, and bowling. There is also an adult day care center located adjacent to the building. A Resident Service Coordinator is provided on site.
There is an on site resident manager and maintenance service. Tenants may use a family room for private events, a community room with television, and an on-site computer room. The building is equipped with an intercom system and each apartment contains emergency pull cord system, heat and smoke detectors for added safety and security. There is a coin operated laundry room on each floor and two elevators. There is also a designated area for visiting health services such as blood pressure and cholesterol screening.
Pets are allowed in accordance with Berkshire Housing's pet policy.
