Welcome home to the Blanchard School Apartments!
Nestled in the heart of Uxbridge, MA, a town steeped in American history, the Blanchard School Apartments redefine what it means to live historically by combining the "old" with the new. Once known as the North Uxbridge School, this historic school building was built in 1873 . As the town’s first district school, the school was renamed “Virginia Blanchard” in honor of a tenured teacher and principal in the same district . Honoring that legacy, the Blanchard School Apartments, maintains the footprint of the historic school and expands on it to create brand new affordable housing for twenty-five households.
Having previously held our housing lottery in the Winter of 2018, we are still looking to fill ONLY our two-bedroom apartments. For these homes only, to income qualify, households cannot exceed the following income limits: $36,060 for a household of one; $41,220 for a household of two; $46,380 for a household of three; and $51,480 for a household of four. We accept all forms of verifiable income to meet this minimum, including mobile vouchers. Note: rental subsidy/assistance is not provided for these homes.
