Manage Listers for an Organization

You are considered the Lister Administrator for your organization if you are the first individual to register for an account with the MassAccess Housing Registry for your organization.

If your organization has multiple property listers, you can add them to the system individually, or each user can self-register.

Manage Listers

  1. Log in.

  2. Select View My Organization in the left sidebar.

  3. Select Manage Listers for this Organization at the top of the page.

Approving Lister Status

If an individual registers as a lister for your organization, you will receive an email notification from the system, with a link to the user's profile.

To approve the individual's request, follow the link to access the profile, and choose Approve Pending User.

You can also access the individual's profile using the following steps:

  1. Log in.

  2. Select View My Organization in the left sidebar.

  3. Select Manage Listers for this Organization at the top of the page.

  4. The Approved? column in the table displays the approval status for each lister. Select View for the pending lister.

  5. Select Approve Pending Lister to allow the individual to post properties for your organization.

Add a Lister Profile

  1. On the Manage Users page, select Add a User.

  2. On the Add User Profile page, enter the appropriate login information.

Note: You can assign the new user to one of two roles:

    Lister

Can view, edit, or add listings for your organization.

    Lister Administrator

Can perform all functions of a lister, but can also edit the organization profile and add additional listers.

The Lister Administrator will receive email requests from other listers seeking approval to register listings on behalf of the organization.

Note: Once a new user account is created, the lister can log in and update his or her own profile. It is recommended that the new user change the password upon first login.

Edit a Lister Profile

  1. From the Manage Users page, select Edit for the user profile you want to edit.

  2. Update the information associated with the lister.

  3. Submit the form.
